The all-aluminium catamaran vessel will have an LOA of 19.58 metres, a beam of 8.2 metres, and space for five crew and 12 passengers. Two main engines will propel the vessel to a speed of 25 knots even in wave heights of up to 2.5 metres.

The vessel will also be equipped to perform surveys and search and rescue (SAR) missions in the South China Sea.
