Solstad Offshore, through Malaysia-based wholly owned subsidiary Deep Sea Supply Labuan II, has sold the anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessel Sea Ocelot to an unnamed buyer.

The vessel was delivered to its new owner on Thursday, September 9. The value of the transaction was not disclosed.

The 2,700-tonne Sea Ocelot was built in 2007 by Singapore-based Jaya Holdings.

The sale of the AHTS is in line with Solstad’s aim of reducing its fleet to around 80 to 90 vessels. Some of the company’s other vessels were sold for recycling while others were sold to operators who are not involved in oil and gas activities.
