Solstad wins new contract, extension in Brazil

Solstad Offshore has confirmed that the current contract of the construction support vessel (CSV) Far Saga with Petrobras has been extended for a period of one year starting on October 30, 2020.

The vessel has been operating in Brazilian waters since 2014.

In addition, Petrobras has confirmed the replacement of Far Saga by Normand Poseidon (pictured) on a new CSV contract for a period of three years firm. This new contract will commence upon the end of the recently extended contract for Far Saga.

Both vessels will sail under the Brazilian flag and will support exploration and production activities in the Brazilian continental shelf.
