Mermaid Maritime forms offshore services JV with Singapore’s Meitech
Mermaid Maritime will establish a new joint venture company with Singapore-based Meitech Offshore Engineering (MOE).
The new company will operate under the name Mermaid-MOE JV and will be engaged in offshore transportation, installation, and decommissioning with focus on projects in the Gulf of Thailand.
The joint venture will also allow Mermaid access to the vessels and other specialist services of MOE’s parent company, Indonesia-based EPCI contractor Meindo Ilang Indah.
