Jan De Nul’s newest turbine installation vessel hits the water

Jan De Nul’s newest wind turbine installation vessel was launched into the water for the first time on Sunday, January 2.

Les Alizes is being built at the Haimen facilities of China Merchants Heavy Industry (CMHI). Sea trials will commence within the next few weeks.

The vessel is due for delivery in the second half of 2022. Its initial deployment will be in support of Ørsted at the Gode Wind Three and Borkum Riffgrund Three offshore wind farms in Germany.
