Harren and Partner welcomes jackup crane vessel to fleet

German shipping and logistics company Harren and Partner has welcomed the jackup crane vessel Thor to its fleet.

The fourth offshore vessel in Harren and Partner’s current fleet, Thor is a 2010-built, DP2-equipped crane vessel ideal for maintenance projects at offshore wind energy plants as well as wind turbine installations.

The Madeiran-flagged vessel has a 500-tonne capacity, a high-outreach offshore crane, and a fully equipped accommodation block for up to 56 people. It will initially be deployed for major component exchange services at the Nordsee One offshore wind farm in the North Sea and will also support other wind farms later in the year.
