Golar LNG completes sale of FSRU to Croatian buyer
Golar LNG has completed the sale of the floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) LNG Croatia to Croatian company LNG Hrvatska.
Golar will now operate and maintain the FSRU for a minimum period of 10 years under contract to LNG Hrvatska.
The acquisition of LNG Croatia will also make it the first FSRU to operate in Croatian waters.
The FSRU was originally built in 2005 as the LNG carrier Golar Viking. Conversion work was carried out earlier this year at Huarun Dadong Dockyard in China.
