FSU conversion completed on GasLog LNG carrier

Greece’s GasLog has confirmed that conversion work has been successfully completed on one of its existing LNG carriers, thus allowing it to take on its new role as a floating storage unit (FSU).

The conversion work on GasLog Singapore was carried out at the Singapore facilities of Sembcorp with the assistance of the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS).

GasLog said the FSU is now ready to provide 10-year uninterrupted floating storage services.
