Euronav secures 10-year extension on FSO contracts
Euronav has confirmed that its joint venture with US-based International Seaways has been awarded an extension of 10 years for the floating storage and offloading (FSO) vessels FSO Asia (pictured) and FSO Africa in direct continuation of their current contractual service.
The extensions were agreed with North Oil Company (NOC), the operator of the Al-Shaheen oil field jointly owned by Qatar Petroleum Oil and Gas and Total E&P Golfe.
The two FSOs have been serving the Al-Shaheen field since 2010.
