Japan Drilling bags contract extensions for rig pair
Japan Drilling Company (JDC) has been awarded contract extensions for two jack-up rigs operated by subsidiary Japan Drilling Netherlands at the Al-Shaheen Oil Field offshore Qatar.
North Oil Company (NOC) has exercised the first of two one-year options each for the rigs Hakuryu-10 (pictured) and Hakuryu-12 in direct continuation of the vessels’ two years’ firm period with the client.
The extensions will commence on September 13, 2019, for Hakuryu-12 and February 12, 2020, for Hakuryu-10.
