Gardline has commissioned a new DP2 geotechnical drill vessel. The vessel, named 'Ocean Vantage' has already successfully completed a number of projects. The 'Ocean Vantage' has a proven 65-tonne capacity GL100 twin tower drill system.

The 'Ocean Vantage' has completed work in the North Sea adjacent to an offshore gas installation and is planned to complete several other surveys in the European/Atlantic region before the end of this year. "This investment highlights Gardline's long term commitment to serving the offshore hydrocarbon, renewables and civil engineering sectors with continued high quality geotechnical services in the coming years," said Managing Director Mervyn Wooltorton.
