Normand Flower secures contract with Fugro

Solstad Farstad (SOFF) has been awarded a contract for the construction support vessel (CSV) Normand Flower to be operated in north European waters with Fugro Netherlands Marine.

The contract has a firm duration of six months and it is planned to start at the end of March.

The 2002-built Normand Flower, which has an overall length of 93.1 metres by 21.5 metres, is powered by four 2,610kW engines for a service speed of 10 to 11 knots.

Accommodating 86 people, Normand Flower has a 960-square-metre cargo deck area and is equipped with a 150-tonne active heave compensated crane, a helideck and a working moonpool.
