Neptune to build 26m workboat for Stewart Marine

UK-based marine services company Stewart Marine has contracted Neptune Marine to build a new 26-metre multi-purpose workboat to be named Viking Energy.

The vessel will be equipped with a DP1 system and will be used for cable lay operations, subsea cable protection, and offshore windfarm support.

Neptune will build the vessel at its yard in Aalst, the Netherlands. Delivery is scheduled for April 2019.
