Maersk Installer completes first mission

Maersk Supply Service has completed its first project with its newbuild Stingray-class subsea support vessel (SSV) Maersk Installer with McDermott.

Maersk Installer joined the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation project in January, supporting the Vashishta development off India’s east coast.

The contract utilised the Stingray’s stationary DP3 to work in challenging waters and its 400-tonne AHC crane to load and install rigid jumpers.
