Jana Marine Services accepts delivery of FPSV

Saudi Arabian offshore company Jana Marine has accepted delivery of a 41-metre fast personnel and supply vessel (FPSV) Jana 18 from Piriou.

To operate in the Arabian Gulf, the Vietnam-built FPSV is an aluminium vessel able to perform various missions such as rig crew transfer, quick transportation of supplies and in-field support.

Based on a straight-bow design developed by Piriou Ingenierie, Jana 18 is equipped with three engines coupled to fixed pitch propellers. She can reach speeds of 25 knots and can transfer up to 80 personnel, depending on the chosen configuration.

She has a fuel oil capacity of 80 cubic metres for a 21-day endurance capability and a 50-tonne deck load capacity.
