PaxOcean to build SEP for Penta-Ocean Construction
PaxOcean Group has been awarded a newbuilding contract by Japan’s Penta-Ocean Construction for the supply of a new self-elevating platform (SEP).
The GustoMSC-designed platform is scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2022. It will have a 1,600-tonne leg encircling crane, a large clear deck area of approximately 3,800 square metres, and accommodations for 80 people.
The SEP will be PaxOcean’s first newbuilding project for Penta-Ocean.
