Bibby Offshore secures Spirit Energy contract

Subsea services provider Bibby Offshore has secured a fixed-term framework agreement with independent oil and gas operator Spirit Energy.

The two-year agreement, which was awarded in April, follows a five-year agreement for Bibby Offshore to carry out inspection repair and maintenance (IRM) works, ROV inspection and subsea survey operations across several North Sea structures and pipelines.

The project will utilise Bibby Offshore’s multi-role diving and ROV support vessel, 94-metre by 22-metre Bibby Sapphire, a Quasar MKII work-class ROV and two Seaeye Lynx observation-class ROVs.
