Jan De Nul bags Kriegers Flak T&I contract

Jan De Nul Group has signed a contract with Vattenfall Vindkraft Kriegers Flak for the transport and installation (T&I) of 72 8.4MW Siemens wind turbine generators for the Kriegers Flak offshore wind farm in Denmark.

Installation works will start in the first quarter of 2021 and will take four months.

The Kriegers Flak offshore wind farm is located in the Baltic Sea in water depths varying between 15 and 30 metres, at 15 kilometres from shore.

During the 2017-2018 timeframe, Jan De Nul Group built, towed, and installed two large gravity based foundations for the offshore high voltage stations of the Kriegers Flak wind farm.
