Transocean has been awarded two drillship contracts by Petrobras for work in Brazil beginning in November 2019.
The company’s ultra-deepwater drillships Ocean Rig Corcovado (pictured) and Ocean Rig Mykonos have been awarded 629-day and 550-day contracts, respectively, plus options.
These will be Transocean’s second and third rigs to be deployed for operations offshore Brazil.
