Seacor Marine takes delivery of third FSV

Libby L. McCall, the third in a series of new monohull fast support vessels (FSVs), has been delivered to Seacor Marine.

Designed by Incat Crowther and built by Gulf Craft of Franklin, Louisiana, the vessel has an LOA of 59.1 metres, a width of 9.8 metres, a draught of 2.8 metres, a passenger capacity of 125, and a crew of 16. Five Cummins QSK60 1,998kW diesel engines driving Hamilton HT810 waterjets deliver a cruising speed of 33 knots and a maximum speed of 38 knots.

The passenger lounge features spacious reclining seating in privacy pods similar to those found in modern first class airline accommodations, full internet connectivity, and a snack bar area. The crew accommodation area includes staterooms along with a large galley and mess area plus walk-in pantry.

Libby L. McCall is classed by ABS as a High-Speed Craft with DP2 and firefighting capability notations.
