Bibby Offshore announces merger with Rever

The Bibby Offshore group of companies has announced a merger with Rever Offshore. 

Rever’s subsidiaries include CECON Contracting, an international subsea and offshore contractor specialising in smaller and medium-size projects, as well as two vessel companies that own Cecon Excellence and Cecon Sovereign.

Bibby Offshore Chief Executive Howard Woodcock said combining Bibby Offshore’s diving and North Sea strengths with the subsea umbilical risers and flowlines (SURF), international and engineering talents of CECON was a “win-win”.

The companies currently focus on the North Sea, Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea regions.

The transaction is agreed and expected to close soon.
