ECA Group to modernise minehunting robots for unnamed customer
French marine robotics firm ECA Group has been awarded a €20 million (US$21.7 million) contract by an undisclosed naval customer to modernise unmanned vehicles used in mine countermeasures (MCM).
The modernisation work is expected to last for a minimum of two years.
ECA added that the customer has been a decades-long operator of unmanned vehicles manufactured by the company.
