US Coast Guard orders four more fast response cutters

The US Coast Guard has exercised a contract option for four additional Sentinel-class fast response cutters (FRCs) to be built by Bollinger Shipyards of Louisiana.

The exercising of the option brings the total number of FRCs awarded to Bollinger up to 64 vessels since the program’s inception.

The four additional Sentinel-class vessels are scheduled for delivery to the coast guard between autumn 2024 and summer 2025.
