Two newbuilds join Senegalese Customs patrol boat fleet

French builder Bord a Bord has delivered two new centre console patrol boats to Senegalese Customs.

The aluminium-hulled vessels were both designed by Pierre Delion. One boat measures 6.2 by 2.3 metres and the other measures 4.5 by 1.75 metres.

The vessels were purchased by the European Union, which then donated them to Senegal. They will be operated in the Saloum Islands in the country’s western portion.
