The Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard has taken delivery of two new Cape-class patrol boats from Austal Australia.

TTS Port of Spain and TTS Scarborough each measure 58 metres long and have accommodations for 27 crewmembers. The vessels can reach speeds in excess of 25 knots and can sail over 3,000 nautical miles or stay out at sea for up to 28 days before requiring refueling and resupply.

Facilities include launching and recovery equipment for two 7.3-metre rigid hull inflatable boats (RHIBs).
