Swanton Police forms new marine patrol unit following boat delivery
EMERGENCY SERVICES WEEK
The Swanton Village Police Department of Swanton, Vermont, has activated a new marine patrol unit following the recent delivery of its first vessel, a newbuild Boston Whaler boat.
The 7.3-metre vessel was acquired with grant funding awarded by the US Department of Homeland Security.
The boat will be utilised for a variety of law enforcement and patrol missions on the Vermont portion of Lake Champlain during the summer months.
