Nibulon, OCEA to build patrol boats for Ukraine

MARITIME SECURITY WEEK

Ukraine’s Nibulon Shipbuilding and Repair Yard and France’s OCEA have begun construction on a series of 20 patrol boats slated for the Ukrainian government.

Under the agreement between the partners, Nibulon will build five of the vessels with the first unit scheduled to be completed in 2021.

The boats will be used primarily for maritime border security missions.
