NAVAL ARCHITECTURE WEEK

China’s Jianglong Shipbuilding has delivered a new high-speed patrol craft to Guangdong Yudean Zhanjiang Wind Power.

Named Zhanfeng Yun Wei 001 (“Zhanfeng Operation and Maintenance 001”), the aluminium-hulled vessel will be used primarily to provide security for wind turbines in the waters off Guangdong province.

The craft has an LOA of 12 metres, a moulded beam of 3.3 metres, space for two crew and eight passengers, and a speed of 25 knots. Secondary missions will include search and rescue (SAR) and turbine repair support.
