EMERGENCY SERVICES WEEK

China’s Jianglong Shipbuilding has completed conducting sea trials of a new law enforcement and emergency response vessel slated for the Zhuhai City Transportation Bureau in Guangdong province.

The 55- by seven-metre Zhuhai 09 achieved a speed of 29.5 knots during the trials, exceeding its design speed of 28 knots. The vessel is also expected to be able to withstand gale-force winds of up to 40 knots.

Once in service, the vessel will be operated in the waters of the Dawan District between Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau.
