Maritime Partner to build seven workboats for Norwegian Coast Guard
Norwegian builder Maritime Partner has been awarded a Royal Norwegian Navy contract for the construction of seven workboats in a series for the country’s coast guard.
The contract also includes options for the delivery of two additional boats.
The all-weather-capable vessels will be used for missions including inspections, patrols, and search and rescue (SAR). All are expected to be delivered to the Norwegian Coast Guard by the summer of 2021.
