Lake Assault hands over patrol RHIB to Texas police operators

Lake Assault Boats has delivered a new patrol craft to the Flower Mound Police Department in North Texas.

The aluminium-alloy rigid hull inflatable boat (RHIB) will provide patrol and emergency response services on Grapevine Lake, a 32-kilometre-long reservoir situated along much of the western edge of the city of Flower Mound.

The newbuild has a length of 6.7 metres, a beam of 2.5 metres, a draught of 30 centimetres, a deck capable of transporting up to 900 kilograms of cargo and passengers, and one Suzuki 150kW outboard engine.
