Karachi Shipyard delivers FRP patrols boats to Pakistan customs

Pakistan Customs has taken delivery of two patrol boats at Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works (KS&EW).

The fibre reinforced polymer (FRP) vessels were built by KS&EW with technical and material support from Damen.

The 15.7-metre by 4.8-metre patrolling boats shall be used for monitoring and enforcement activities in Pakistan’s territorial waters.

Featuring a top speed of 33 knots and a range of 210 natutical miles, the vessels have a crew of two.
