Jianglong Shipbuilding wins China Coast Guard vessel tender

Jianglong Shipbuilding has won a tender to construct a new law enforcement vessel for the Zhuhai Maritime Command of the China Coast Guard.

The 60-metre vessel will be used to patrol the waters off Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau’s Dawan (“Greater Bay Area”) district. It will also serve as a command and control vessel during maritime emergencies.

The vessel will be a modified variant of Jianglong’s 54-metre patrol boat, one example of which is already in service with the China Coast Guard (pictured).
