Jianglong Shipbuilding cuts steel for patrol boat for Yangtze River

Jianglong Shipbuilding has cut the first steel for a new patrol vessel slated for the Yangtze River Shipping Public Security Bureau.

The steel-aluminium vessel will have an LOA of 48.6 metres, a beam of 9.4 metres, and two main engines that will deliver a speed of 18 knots.

Onboard equipment will include surveillance cameras and an advanced command, control, and communications (C3) suite.
