Indian Coast Guard commissions fifth Priyadarshini-class patrol vessel

The Indian Coast Guard commissioned a new fast patrol vessel (FPV) into service on Wednesday, September 30.

ICGS Kanak Lata Barua is the final one of five Priyadarshini-class FPVs built by state-owned Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE).

The vessel has a length of 50 metres, a beam of 7.5 metres, and a maximum speed of 34 knots.
