A new harbour patrol boat has entered service with California’s Santa Cruz Port District.

Built by the Moose Boats, the 34-foot (10.3-metre) vessel will be named Don Kinnamon in honour of a former district senior deputy harbourmaster.

The all-weather boat is powered by twin Suzuki DF300APX outboards that deliver speeds of up to 45 knots. The electronics suite includes a Simrad radar and a Teledyne FLIR rotating thermal camera.
