Fast response cutter Robert Goldman delivered to US Coast Guard
The US Coast Guard has taken delivery of the future USCGC Robert Goldman, the 42nd Sentinel-class fast response cutter built by Bollinger Shipyards.
The 46-metre vessel will be homeported in Manama, Bahrain, along with five other FRCs, four of which are still under construction at Bollinger.
The FRC honours Robert Goldman, an enlisted coast guard sailor who was decorated for his actions during the campaign to liberate the Philippines in the closing months of World War II.
