A dredger tender capsized and sank in the US state of South Carolina on Saturday, November 17.

Southern Dredging’s Miss Anne (pictured) was re-positioning equipment for the dredger Brunswick when it capsized at approximately 19:30 local time.

However, it was not until the following morning that the vessel was finally located in the Cooper River in Charleston Harbor.

All three crewmembers of the tender were recovered safely with no reports of injuries or pollution.

The search and rescue operation for Miss Anne was carried out by the US Coast Guard, the US Army Corps of Engineers, the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office, the South Carolina Port Authority, and some private companies.
