Cowes Harbour Commission and Diverse Marine sign patrol RIB contract
Cowes Harbour Commission and Isle of Wight-based Diverse Marine have signed a contract for the design, construction, and delivery of a rigid inflatable boat (RIB) to be used for patrol duties.
The new vessel will be designed in conjunction with Medtec Design of East Cowes.
The RIB will have a length of nine metres and aluminium construction. A single Volvo Penta D4 engine and Hamilton HJ274 waterjet will propel the vessel to 30 knots in light conditions.
