Bangladesh orders six fisheries patrol boats from Indian yard

The Bangladesh Department of Fisheries has placed an order for six patrol boats in a series to be built by Indian state-owned shipyard Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE).

The boats will each have a length of 13 metres, a draught of 0.6 metres, and waterjet propulsion.

The contract with GRSE has a total approximate value equivalent to US$1.82 million.
