Swedish Armed Forces awards boat upgrade contract to local firm

The Swedish Armed Forces has awarded local defence company Mildef a contract for the incorporation of upgrades on the Swedish Royal Navy’s fleet of CB90-class fast assault craft.

The contract covers the design, integration, and integrated logistics support of new navigation systems in approximately fifty boats.

The CB90-class boats first entered service in the early 1990s. The boats in Swedish service were designed and built by local shipyard Dockstavarvet.
