Russia’s Admiralty Shipyard has completed the state acceptance trials of the future Russian Navy Project 636.3 diesel-electric attack submarine Magadan.

The trials were conducted to assess the submarine’s deep-diving capability as well as its manoeuvrability while operating at various depths. With the conclusion of the trials, final outfitting will commence at Admiralty Shipyard’s facilities in Saint Petersburg.

The future Magadan is scheduled for delivery to the navy on November 10, 2021.
