JFD Australia secures contract extension to supply submarine rescue system
JFD Australia has confirmed that it will continue to supply its submarine rescue system to the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) up until December 2023.
The AU$70 million (US$46 million) contract also includes an option to further extend the firm period to November 2024.
JFD Australia’s submarine rescue system, which will include a manned submersible and associated equipment, will be air-transportable.
