Spanish builder secures naval patrol boat orders

Spain’s Aresa Shipyard has been awarded a contract to build eight patrol craft in a series for an unnamed European naval operator.

Each boat will have a length of 13 metres and two outboard engines that will deliver a top speed of over 45 knots.

The first two units will be delivered to the customer by the end of March 2024. The remaining six boats are scheduled for hand-over within the next six months.
