Marell unveils 15m patrol boat

Sweden’s Marell has introduced a new series of high-speed patrol boat for defence and law enforcement use.

Each vessel in the series will have a length of 15 metres and twin Volvo Penta D6 357kW engines that deliver cruising speeds of 30 to 40 knots and a maximum speed of 45 knots.

The boats are designed for anti-piracy operations, border control, intelligence gathering, maritime security, and force protection missions.
