Lung Teh Shipbuilding lays keels of two minelayers for RoCN

Lung Teh Shipbuilding of Taiwan has laid the keels for two future minelaying vessels for the Republic of China Navy (RoCN).

Each vessel will have a length of 41 metres, a beam of 8.8 metres, a speed of 14 knots, and armament consisting of a 20-millimetre cannon and two 7.62-millimetre machine guns.

The vessels will be the final two of four in a series ordered for the RoCN. The first unit is scheduled to be completed and delivered in 2021.
