Kongsberg unveils new maritime security vessel design

Kongsberg Gruppen recently unveiled a new design of maritime security vessel for military and civilian operators.

The vessel will also be capable of secondary missions such as search and rescue (SAR), harbour and assets protection, subsea survey, and mine clearance, detection, and disposal.

It will have a helicopter deck and onboard facilities for launching and recovering unmanned air, surface, and undersea vehicles.
