Indonesian Navy commissions landing ship Teluk Youtefa

The Indonesian Navy recently commissioned a new tank landing ship (LST) into service.

KRI Teluk Youtefa is the third LST in the Indonesian Navy’s Teluk Bintuni-class, which were built by various local yards.

The newbuild measures 120 by 18 metres and can transport up to 361 troops and an assortment of vehicles including landing craft, main battle tanks, armoured personnel carriers, and trucks. The flight deck can accommodate two helicopters.

Teluk Youtefa‘s defensive armament includes a 40-millimetre naval gun, a 20-millimetre autocannon, and two 12.7-millimetre machine guns.
