Amur Shipyard lays keel of Russian Navy’s fourth Project 22800 corvette

MARITIME SECURITY WEEK

United Shipbuilding Corporation’s (USC) Amur Shipyard laid the keel for a new guided missile corvette on Wednesday, July 29.

The future Pavlovsk will be the fourth corvette to be built under Project 22800, also known as the Karakurt-class.

The vessel will be assigned to the Russian Navy’s Pacific Fleet upon delivery, which is scheduled for 2024.
