Israeli yard to build two landing ships for African operator
Israel Shipyards has entered into an agreement with an operator based in an unnamed African country for the supply of two new landing ships.
The contract, which covers a construction and delivery period spanning two years, also has an option for an additional vessel.
Israel Shipyards CEO Eitan Zucker said the vessels will provide logistical support for combat forces.
